Introduction

Welcome to Revise! By using our note-taking application ("Revise"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Revise. By using Revise, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and comply with these terms.

Account Registration

To use certain features of Revise, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information and for any activities or actions under your account.

Acceptable Use

When using Revise, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
• Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the app.
• Not use any automated system, including robots, spiders, or offline readers, to access the app.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its related systems or networks.

Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using Revise. By creating content on Revise, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content in connection with the operation of our services.

Prohibited Activities

When using Revise, you agree not to:

• Post or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the app or the servers and networks connected to the app.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Revise immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Use.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Revise, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the app; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the app; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our app by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the app; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country/state in which Revise operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
